Are you already Coast FI?
FI stands for financial independence: the point where your invested assets can cover your spending. Coast FI means your invested assets today, with no new contributions, are on track to reach that point by your target age. Contributions after that are a choice.
Sample figures shown. Replace them with yours. Nothing you type leaves this page.
How it works
Your FIRE number is annual spending divided by the withdrawal rate, 25 times spending at 4%. Your Coast FI number is that figure discounted back to today at the real return, the growth rate after inflation, over the years until your target age.
What it leaves out
Runway. Coast FI says nothing about how long you could last if income stopped next month. The free runway check gives you that, your FI stage, and your Debt Freedom level in two minutes.
